Edmonds Elementary PTA Goals

To help families become more involved in their children’s school community by providing the following:

Communication

To provide an all school directory and an e-mail directory. This will allow PTA to communicate to parents about volunteer opportunities and other information. It also allows for sharing of information among parents and families.

Education

Educate parents about what’s happening at our school, district, and statewide, regarding issues that affect our kids. We will have guest speakers at our PTA meetings to talk about a variety of subjects.

Volunteers

We would like to help coordinate volunteers to work in the classrooms for special events, and field trips. Look for volunteer opportunities in our email postings, or through your child’s teacher.

Fundraising

We will host a variety of fundraisers to help pay for the many services we provide including, teachers classroom funds, field trips, memory books, graduations, assemblies, teacher appreciation luncheons and more.

Community Building

We host a variety of events throughout the year including, the Harvest Festival, Valentines Day events, Bingo night, Ice Cream social, skate parties and many other family oriented events.
