WATCH DOGS UPATE - October,
2011
Watch D.O.G.S. is a nation program
with a stated objective to "Engage
men, inspire children, reduce bullying and enhance the educational
environment at your school.".
This is one of the most popular programs with the kids and
provides an opportunity for Father and Father Figures to
become directly involved with the students at Edmonds Elementary.
Plus you get a really cool parking spot!
Any adult male figure in a childs life is welcome to join.
In the past we have had dads, uncles, grandpas, and family
friends who are all great role models. In order to
sign up you need to have a completed Washington State Patrol
form and your information sheet. There will be order
forms available to order shirts, hats and other Watch D.O.G.S.
related items. It is our goal to have at least one
Watch D.O.G. on campus per school day.
Look for more information in the October 22nd
newsletter...
